GIMP and tabletss

I am curious to find out if anyone is using GIMP + Tablet (hardware) to
work on the images.  Which tablets are GIMP friendly.  I am using GIMP
in Vista environment.

I'm using Gimp with a Wacom Bamboo under Windows XP. Works quite nicely.

Wacom Intuos 3 works like a charm ... though under Linux w/ Gimp-2.4.6.

Pentagram O'Pen XL, worked for me on XP in Gimp 2.6, but not on Linux.
I just can't make it work under linux, no matter what I do. But on windows
it behaves quite nice. Used it for photo retouching.
