Gimp 2 6 and raw images

Gimp 2.6 and raw images

For some reason, when I try to open a raw file (.nef) in GIMP 2.6, it's loading a thumbnail image instead of the full image. I haven't been able to find a setting that controls this.... GIMP 2.4 had no problem opening the same files. 

Does anyone know what's going on?

I have no trouble using gimp 2.6.2 to open *.nef files...  When I do this
ufraw .14 first opens the *.nef file, which I work on, and then click the
OK button which then transfers the file to gimp.  I can also use stand
alone ufraw to open *.nef files.

What gimp and ufraw versions are you running?

I think you need to upgrade ufraw as well.
