Mac OS 10.4.11 Tiger Gimp 2.6.4 When I use the Distorts/mosaic I get very bad results and the filter also sits with the black and white watch icon if I change settings. Here is a link to a screen shot of the bad results. click on large to see the picture better. http://www.mediafire.com/imageview.php?quickkey=0dgqmoyu0jj&thumb=4

I'm using Linux. A couple of things you should try: 1. In settings make sure you have enough memory available. Edit -> Preferences -> Environment (How much ram do you have and how big is the image you're working on ?) 2. A long shot here but I notice in your screen shot that the 'select by color' tool is selected and the cursor looks like the cursor for that tool is active (at least that what the cursor looks like on my setup).. So did you make a selection by color before running this plugin ??? If so that could be your problem. If you really want to do this then make the selection and paste it into a new layer first (anchor it after pasting !!). Then run the plugin on this layer. Otherwise the plugin may produce weird results..if it is running on a selection from the layer. The plugin probably works on layers and not selections.. At least that's a wild theory on my part and I am only theorizing.... ;-)
